Since 2025, the Asia-Oceania Neutron Scattering Association (AONSA) awards the AONSA Science Award (AONSA SA) every two years to scientists in the middle of their career (8 to 20 years after PhD) to recognize their outstanding scientific achievement (including instrumentation) that has a significant impact or contribution to the neutron science community in the Asia-Oceania Region. The Award consists of a certificate citing the contributions made by the recipient and a medal.
Past Winners
AONSA Science Award 2025
Three awards were selected for the inaugural AONSA Science Award in 2025: 1) Prof. Yuan Li (Peking U), 2) Dr. Anup Kumar Bera (BARC), and 3) Prof. Vanessa Peterson (ACNS). The Award Ceremony and the deliveries of the award lectures took place during the ICNS 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Lund Sweden, 6-10, July 2025.
